It seems that the traditional French interior design is being revived, with more and more coverage by high-end magazines and websites.

Acajou is a UK-based company that specializes in bathroom furnishings and its most recent French-style collection has been getting a lot of attention. The company creates each furniture piece as an individual, thus ensuring that no two are the same.

Their new collection, Le Manoir, embodies the typical French style and appears to be very much in demand. The pieces are stylish and elegant and will bring a touch of luxury to any home. A select number of the pieces can be seen at Harrods in London.

Acajou also offers customers a bespoke hand-painted finishing service which allows them to truly personalize their chosen item. What are your thoughts on the revival of the French style bathroom? Like it?

A bit ugly if you ask me - but there you go, each to their own.

Simply love it. I think that to appreciate the beauty of the piece one needs to have some idea of what is involved in fine furniture making!
