United Airlines has introduced their new Business class cabins, which offer complete lie-flat seats - a first for a U.S airline.

Although luxury in business class is no new thing, airlines are competing to offer the best services, as clients' demands continue to grow. These new lie-flat seats from United Airlines recline to a 180 degree angle, and stretch to six foot.  The seats are designed to maximise personal space as well as privacy. In addition to these seats, the cabins will also have 15-inch video screens and more than 150 hours of viewing pleasure.

The winners of the World Airline Awards 2007 have been announced and Singapore Airlines was the big winner, being crowned Best Airline, as well as Best Business Class.

Qatar Airways awon multiple awards, including Best First Class, Best Airline (in the Middle East) and Best Cabin Staff (Middle East). Virgin Atlantic's Heathrow Clubhouse scooped them the Best Business Class Lounge award. Malaysia Airlines won for Best Worldwide Cabin Staff.

Luxury yacht company Oceanco has brought the world some of the most indulgent and innovative yachts yet. They recently announced the launch of their new Superyacht, the Y702, also known as Alfa Nero.

This 82 meter yacht is expected to be ready for delivery by the end of the month. The yacht has accommodation for 12 guests and 28 crew members. She also boasts with a first in this type of yacht: a swimming pool that transforms into a helipad. The Y702 is also said to be the main attraction of this year's Monaco Yacht Show.
