It seems that the traditional French interior design is being revived, with more and more coverage by high-end magazines and websites.

Footballers' children get rooms of their dreams

It seems that it is no longer only the WAGs that make a large dent in footballers' earnings - now even their children are demanding their share, and top of the list is a designer bedroom such as those that Mark Wilkinson creates.

The furniture company offers themed beds, desks, wardrobes and murals. The parents can ask for virtually any theme and Wilkinson will design it. Popular themes are the Tom Thumb room and the Cinderella room, the latter including a hand-crafted carriage bed which costs about £24,000. The Tom Thumb room consists of over-sized furniture, while the Sir Galahad room has swords carved into the furniture and mirrors in the shape of shields.
