Peninsula Hotel Tokyo
The Peninsula hotels group has announced that it will be opening The Peninsula Tokyo on the 1st of September this year.
Known for their superb accommodation and style, Peninsula Hotels have been a popular choice for short-term stays for quite some time. According to their parent company, the Peninsula Tokyo will be the first free-standing luxury hotel built in this densely populated city in over a decade.
The hotel will be situated in the district of Marunouchi which is reportedly fast becoming one of Tokyo’s most fashionable areas and this has attracted outlets for many luxury brands.

Fine Feathers farm in Endon has started offering a wedding service for pets, where proud owners can watch their animals be ‘wed’ in their choice of ceremony.
The farm decided to start hosting weddings for pets after hosting a ceremony in August 2006 for two of their own dogs, Oscar and Freida. The two dogs gained instant fame after being the first pets to wed in the UK. There are many similar companies in the US but it doesn’t seem like this kind of service is drawing the same kind of attention in the UK.

Chillout gets icy reception
It was recently announced that by next year Dubai will be home to the world’s tallest building and the city seems to be developing at a rapid pace. Home to a large amount of luxury resorts, the city seems to be catering for the influx of wealthy visitors with various activities.
The newest development in the city is Chillout, an ice bar and restaurant. This offers people the perfect opportunity to cool off in Dubai’s extreme heat. Everything inside the bar is made from ice, and the number of people allowed in at a time is limited to prevent the temperature from rising too much and ruining the perfectly created atmosphere.
